Apple Cider Vinegar as Treatment

1.The common cold

Apple cider vinegar boosts your body’s immune system, thus strengthening, and protecting your body against infections, like the common cold.

2.Acid reflux

It might surprise you to know that acid reflux is the result of having too little acid, rather than having too much. Immediately after you drink water with ACV (8 0z. water with 1 to 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar), your acid reflux is alleviated. Drink this daily.

3.Minor scrapes and scratches

For scrapes or scratches that aren’t freely bleeding but can still smart, add a teaspoon of ACV to a cup of water and dab the wound with a cotton ball or tissue.

4.Sore or strep throat

This is unfortunately quite a common ailment for certain susceptible individuals, but you can ease the symptoms with apple cider vinegar. Add 1 to 3 teaspoons ACV to an 8 0z. glass of warm water and gargle.

5.Sinus infections

Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon honey to a glass of warm water. The infection may disappear in just a matter of days.

6.Nasal congestion

Apple cider vinegar has high potassium content and this element helps slow down the production of mucus. Adding to ACV’s potency for nasal decongestion is the acetic acid it contains, which prevents the growth of bacteria. Drink this three times a day – most importantly before bed – when suffering nasal congestion: ½ cup warm water mixed with ½ cup ACV and 1 teaspoon honey.
